I've got mixed feelings on steroids in baseball vs. steroids in cycling.
First off, I never could figure out why Congress was involved in the baseball thing. It should have been a civil matter, handled by MLB, or a simple drug trafficking case. It was not worthy of Congressional subpanels and all that bullshit.
But Clemens, Macguire, Sosa, etc. had unfair advantages because of their drug use. For that, the commission should deal with them, keep them out of the HoF, whatever. Hell, it wasn't always illegal, so to retroactively punish some of these guys is silly, but still, shouldn't be a Federal case.
As for cycling, it seems more and more that many, many teams were doing it. Part of me is thinking that Armstrong was competing against other guys who were also doping, so isn't that kind of like an even playing field?
Still doesn't excuse him from being vindictive and suing others. For that he should piss off.

Not surprised.
Having spent the last fourteen years around a powerful, narcissistic, manipulative, win-at-all-costs sort of individual, I would say his behavior is par for the course - the threats- the harassment, the intimidation. And then the lame apology/ confession so that he may absolve, only to sin again.
Its actually very "Catholic" of him.
No offense.
What a creepy mother fuck

Threatening teammates' wives is pretty low.

Proof that not-so-nice guys get the win.
What a great example of how to live your life- NOT.
No wonder my kid is such a cynic.
