They've been in the news lately for providing horrible customer service- the surprising thing is that it has taken this long.
I signed up for a new Comcast business account two months ago and the install still hasn't happened- they've sent out three "engineers" to figure out how to install, after each leaves they tell me it will be a week. I wait, I call, the order has been cancelled.
Amazingly bad.

Yeah, it's a shame because, at some point, all that good will they've built up (nudge, nudge, wink, wink) will bite them in the arse. Or maybe they'll get "too big to fail" and when they do they get a big parachute from Uncle Sam.

Bootsy, I'm sure COMPETITION and the MAGIC HAND OF THE FREE MARKET will work this all out. Long after we're all dead of old age, but still.

Well- Comcast says its done, everything is installed and we are good to go.
Too bad they never actually showed up and did the work.
Epic fail.

On a related note, thanks to Time Warner locking up exclusive broadcast rights to Dodger games and the fact that no other providers will pay the fees they're demanding to carry this new channel, I have been able to watch more of the Cameroon national team at the World Cup than I have of my LA Dodgers. 70% of LA households don't get the games--including Vin Scully's.
So I listen to him on the radio, the same way people listened to him call play-by-play in the early 1950s.
