So...there's actually two of these per year now, right? One in spring and the other before Xmas?
Or am I confused, as usual?

Seems like these RSD's are every other month. I fear overexposure.

Yeah, there's now Black Friday Record Store Day in November as well. If it's quality stuff, people will still want it -- REM and Dylan had some exclusives that I tracked down. Waiting to see what Omnivore has in store (no pun intended).

Pretty impressive. What's the backstory in getting Robert Trujillo involved in the Jaco? Always love hearing Van Dyke's voice.

He LOVES Jaco, even owning his old bass, restoring it and using it. But, he does so in trust to the family. He was one of the people spearheading the doc. Michael Kurtz, one of the co-founders of RSD is also a Jaco fan and had some old Super 8 footage he sent to Robert for potential use. They struck up a friendship and decided to make the doc the official film of RSD. Robert said that the family was thinking about releasing some of the archival material they have. Kurtz said "I know just the label to do it..."
