It's a bikini bar* populated by Suicide Girls, basically...most famous alumna is Courtney Love, who danced there in the late '80s pre-Kurt.
*About a decade ago LA outlawed thongs and pasties at places that served alcohol. The all-nude places don't allow drinking, alas....

Was going to put this in the worthless knowledge thread, but it seems more appropriate here: "Highwayman Dick Turpin's dead body was exhumed by friends and taken on a pub crawl around York." He allegedly haunts quite a few pubs in Highgate. I visited three but didn't encounter him.

If they knew my name probably. There is one guy who found out my Dad is a Veteran. He's a war buff and always says hello to my Dad, "Hi, Lenny!"

I have a hangover. I went to a party last night where the hosts would not let me leave.

Funny, they wouldn't let me stay. Or in, for that matter. I have a hangover. I went to a party last night where the hosts would not let me leave.

I cried twice during Moneyball and I don't know why. I stole it off the internet. I'm running off four hours of sleep and I need a haircut. My buddy told me that I should be Gene Simmons for St. Patty's day just for the hell of it. The hair is almost long enough. That was the best halloween costume I ever did. I'm so. os. hammered.

Is that anything like Os Mutantes? I kinda dug that reissue that David Byrne put out on his imprint a decade ago. I'd think "Os Hammered" would be a tad more metal, though.
On edit: awesome pic, though!

Ya, well, uh, I just spent 5 minute trying to erase a comma that was actually a spot on my monitor...

Nothing quite like downing a few (ahem) tasty beverages and watching a Sergio Leone spaghetti western starring Clint, Lee Van Cleef and the ever-villainous Gian Maria Volante...cheers to "For a Few Dollars More"!
And thank you, HBO, for showing it at a prime drunken viewing time on one of your lesser channels.

I've decided to stay up until 3am. Well maybe 2. Whenever I run out of vodka. I have a money Reuben to eat and some chicken salad.
I hope that I delete anything I want to post before I hit "post reply".

What I'd give for a private screening for a "few dollars more".
Burying a good friend tomorrow, fuck. First day of a much needed vacation too, not so awesome way to start it. FML.
Not drunk tonight, just pleasantly buzzed. Last night, In his, our dead friend's, honor, we drank. And played a lot of music. At about melon:o'clock on the stupid scale my iPod decided to play a 30 minute file of a live Roxy Music concert.
Funny thing, my husband never remembered putting that piece of music on my iPod (I'm distinctively non-live for the iPod) AND that was said dead friend's favorite piece of music.
We both believe he was with us last night, hovering in the ether, before leaving this plane forever.
RIP Lou,
