I've decided to become a pop culture maven, it's what I am best at. So here is my first project I am supporting- I hope you will too. If you can't support financially at least please follow them on twitter and FB and all that jazz- very good work, very dedicated young group of artists, very cool new addition to the Chicago street art scene. viva dycouverte!

Thanks Ginch for all of your help! These guys are gonna rock the art scene here in Chicago. In other news I accepted a board position with a group of old fuddy duddies and their 50 year old creative organization. Some of theses cast have seen it all, one guy (my connection) used to design album covers for Chess Records and Motown in the 50's and 60's- I'd like to see his vinyl collection. Should be fun, OR a real snooze fest. But expect to see me promoting more shit, I may not be making any money but am having fun as a pop culture maven .

boots, in college, friends and I got obsessed with the British Comic Strip videos.
Attached is the first part of one of my favorite episodes. I post it, in that starting at 3:45 you will hear the first play of a song my friends and I still sing all the fucking time.
It's title? "Boots".

Adrian Edmonson, Rik Mayall, Frech & Saunders (Ab Fab, bitches), Nigel Planer, Peter Richardson. My "contemporary" comedy Beatles growing up. Credibility Gap, Albert Brooks, Python, Atkinson, all older. Seriously, Edmonson should be knighted. Brilliant motherfucker. Glad you dug it D. Try "Five Go Mad On Mescaline"

Everything was so much better in the eighties--- sigh--- and that lead singer stole my look damnit.

Everything was so much better in the eighties. I'd have much rather been a 15-25 year old in just about any other decade for which I've been alive, aside from the Dubya years. But '60s, '70s, or '90s? Fuck yeah, that woulda been hip.
