Dammit, Rainy, that's one of my favorite songs of all time and you nailed it. All 4:12 of it was a joy to hear, and see. Thanks so much.

I posted a more sanitized version on facebook a couple weeks ago. This one is a little more raw. I like it better.

Jesus, you don't even strain for those high notes. You just nail them.

Seriously, Rainy....god damn. I am this close to sending that link to every remaining connection I have in the music business.
You nail that high note in "February" with such ease and sureness. That's some pro shit right there.

That's the thing I've always envied about people with talent....be it McCartney or Rainy. Pick up a guitar and suddenly you can mesmerize a room and make people happy. I can't remember what musician I interviewed and asked that question -- what's it like to be able to just instantly be able to bring joy to people if you want to? I can't remember who it was or the exact words, but he basically said it was pretty fuckin' awesome.

Wow. You guys have no idea how much it means to me to get this kind of positive feedback from you. I'm actually not doing very well mentally right now, but playing and sharing with my friends is something that helps.
So thank you for listening, and for being so so kind and generous. It kind of means everything right now.

Wow, Rainy, sorry to hear you're going through a rough patch. Don't let any "small shit" get you down. It's all "small shit", by the way, and you have friends here who think the world of you that you can lean on any time. I'm not saying that to be a human Hallmark card or anything either.
These are some good-ass folks right here. That means you too, of course.
