What do you marinate in? Asian-y stuff or can you go all rosemary/garlic/ Italiano? I've always liked tofu - I actually like the bean curdy texture in soups and deep fried- its always been in Asian preparations though. I'll try the grilling and report back with snaps. I'm with boots -- how do you marinate tofu or have it be anyway tasty? I'd love to have a full tofu diet... but except for hot-and-sour soup at a restaurant, I can't stand it.

okay, now you're talking- I've seen recipes with is in between lasagna noodles - that looks good too.
I'm going to marinate and grill on Monday (meatless Monday and all) and then I'm dying to wrap it in an eggroll wrapper and deep fry it. Because everything is better deep fried.

So I failed to take pictures (who takes pictures of food anyway right?) - BUT the tofu was a resounding success- I marinated in siracha with ponzu and then sautéed- served with crunchy wonton skins and a fabulous siracha laced cabbage salad.
Next time you are all invited!

I try to get 200g of protein every day, and I have no idea how I'd do that as a vegetarian. Like most people, I try not to think about the industry that fills my plates.
Can't enjoy fast food burgers since finding out the high percentage of filler in most 'beef' patties. I managed to stay naïve for quite a while, though, which was nice while it lasted.

200g of protein? Why do you need that much? HOW do you get that much?

After the age of 40 men lose muscle mass at a pretty brisk clip. I supplement with gallons of bull semen, which turns out to not have that much protein but man, you should see those happy bulls when they see me approaching.
Getting that much protein is actually more choresome than working out, but it's a lot of shakes, tuna, eggs, cottage cheese, and tons of chicken, which I am always careful to avoid hearing about the chemistry/cruelty of, because I loves me some yardbird. But every meal is like 'how do I get protein into this?' aside from my beloved oatmeal for breakfast.
The only noticeable protein in vegetables is soybeans, which men have to be careful with cos it evidently has some component that mimics estrogen and will cause bitch-tits.

Everybody's assignment for tomorrow, use "bitch tits" in a sentence...
