I find it funny that the most reclusive member, Agnetha, is the one that's been talking about the possibility of a reunion as far back as 2011. Of course, the other members have been quiet on the subject, but there appears to be some activity concerning a reunion to mark the 40th anniversary of their single "Waterloo". news.yahoo.com/abba-mulls-possible-waterloo-reunion-082215791.htmlSo, what say you? Should they reunite? And if they do, would you attend a show if it came to your city?

Too poppy for me. Whitebread mayonnaise sandwich.
I thought they had been offered huge dough to do this, but they all have fuck you money and said fuck you.

Yeah, I've retroactively been able to appreciate everything I thought sucked back in the day, from the Bee Gees disco era to The Commodores ("Sail On" is some damn fine songwriting and singing), but there isn't a single ABBA song I can stomach as even a guilty pleasure. And I've admitted to some pretty damning guilty pleasures. Actually, I do like the one song that one of the women did solo with Phil Collins somehow involved -- I have that 45 somewhere.

I've always loved them but I must say that the thought of a bunch of rich fucks facebookng and tweeting about going to see ABBA fills me with disgust

It's gonna be a concert hall filled with fans of "Mama Mia" which is such a rip off "Muriel's Wedding" - agh!
Don't get me started.

I'd rather stare at a beer mug brimming with my rapidly cooling urine than attend a concert featuring the geriatric version of ABBA.

Nah. It's not cause I don't like their music, it's because it's a bad idea. Age may not have stopped the Stones or the Beach Boys, but it certainly should have.

I love ABBA but it's ridic to reunite. Didn't they split up acrimoniously, and the husbands fucked the women out of any publishing royalties? Maybe they could do a cool new single, but a tour would be a pathetic nostalgia act, I think. Even with the original members, it would probably be a lip-synced, computerized pre-recorded "live" act. ABBA should just let their legacy be.
