Bowie would have been a very hands-off Bond as far as physical confrontation goes. He doesn't waste his time in such a classless endeavor as a ghetto-style knuckle fight. If he wants to hurt you, he does so by being three steps ahead of you and lulling you into a cock-sure sense of over-confidence that sees you congratulate yourself just as you start to notice what appear to be words falling from the sky. "Fuck, those are the end credits. That loafer-wearing Bond motherfucker fucking got me. Damn, I wasted all that fucking cash on shark-propelled nuclear warheads! "
He'd still bang the shit out of Grace Jones, though.

What the hell ever happened to Mike Myers? I haven't seen him on a screen since he was standing next to Kanye.

I would ask what happened to Kanye...been at least a week since I've seen him in the press...but I'm enjoying it too much to wanna jinx it. Saw "Ted" last night. Funniest movie I've seen all year. I guess watching a 35-year-old man-child smoking weed with his childhood teddy-bear-come-to-life and snorting coke with Flash Gordon just speaks to me.

Currently watching French film "Holy Motors" and all I can say is "holy fuck". It's amazing, but, plot-wise, I haven't gotten a second of it. In that sense, major bonus points for sheer out-of-the-box creativity. I suggest it to anyone who loves the foreign fare and who likes their movies completely non-boilerplate.
Of course, the fact that it is set against the backdrop of Paris doesn't hurt either.
It's one twisted, violently sensual, beautiful, aching film.

"The Cloud Atlas" was both brilliant and kind of nuts are the same time. I loved it though.

I thought 'Flight' was well made, but just sad.

I think it's a beauty and definitely worth seeing on the big screen. The acting from Zhou Xun and Jim Broadbent alone make it worth it , but there writing is stunning and all the threads of the stories work so well together. I can be quite metaphysical though, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I got completely sucked in.

When is Jim Broadbent not good? Completely underrated.

Saw "This is 40" today. Plot is all over the place, but a lot of laugh-out-loud moments and the best music I've ever heard in a movie, ever.

This is a must for me, given that one G. Parker is part of the storyline.

This is a must for me, given that one G. Parker is part of the storyline. And he was excellent. I know he's playing himself and didn't have many lines, but he nailed it. I've been on a major GP jag for the past 24 hours.
